Toronto area: next Approaching the Past workshop Sept. 30th
September 30th: Tavern Tales and Tavern Spaces
Julia Roberts will be leading the next Approaching the Past workshop. Professor Roberts workshop, “Tavern Tales and Tavern Spaces: Teaching History from inside the Colonial Taverns of Upper Canada,” will explore using places, such as taverns, as entry points for teaching the past. The event will be held at Montgomery’s Inn on September 30th at 7 p.m.
